Let's go trio!
London based Let’sGoTrio is a project created by French-Swiss harpist Florence Laouénan (aka Flo), exploring funk, jazz, soul and world music through the harp. The trio features Flo on harp, Leo on drums and percussion, and Gus on bass and guitar.
Together, they reinterpret and arrange pieces from jazz and funk traditions, drawing inspiration from artists like The Meters, Ikebe Shakedown, John Scofield, and harpists such as Andreas Vollenweider, Brandee Younger, and Ben Creighton Griffiths.
Groove is the essence of the trio—whether it's in a classic funk riff, a bossa pattern, or an odd time signature. Structure and improvisation form the foundation of their sound.
The name Let’sGoTrio reflects their forward momentum and creative drive: always moving ahead, blending genres, and crafting arrangements tailored to their unique instrumentation. Formed after completing their studies at ICMP in London, the trio continues to push boundaries—proving that the harp can groove!
Louisa Rowley
Louisa Rowley is an artist that blends 21st century problems with the sounds of blues and soul. Taking her influence from several artists, Louisa’s sound is comparable to the likes of Stephen Sanchez and Bonnie Raitt and has been described as Elvis meets Amy Winehouse! She started writing music, aged 18, to help her cope with her anxiety and has since used music to explore her mental health, autism and post-adolescence experiences.
2025 will signal the release of Louisa’s debut EP, with tracks 1 and 2, already releasing last year. In the runup to her EP release, Louisa can be found on her social media channels.
